As the all-new Mahindra Mojo sport tourer is all set to launch on October 16, 2015, the company has released a ‘pre-launch’ TVC of the bike. Dealers have already begun accepting bookings for the vehicle at Rs. 10,000. The company is also offering some pre-sales additional benefits to the Mojo customers, including discounted maintenance package, two years/ unlimited km warranty and discounts on insurance and accessories. With KTM Duke 390, Honda CRB 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250R in its sights, the Mahindra Mojo is estimated to be priced around Rs. 1.5 lakh – Rs. 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
To recap, the Mojo is powered by a 296cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is paired to a six-speed transmission. This engine churns out a maximum power of 27bhp and 30Nm of torque. In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 2,100mm in length, 830mm in width and 1,270mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1,450mm, and a ground clearance of 150mm. The braking system of the bike comprises of front pedal disc and rear disc brakes. It also gets telescopic fork upfront and monoshock rear suspension system.
Talking about design, the Mojo features twin headlamps with LED daytime running lights, premium 3D Mahindra and Mojo brand badges on the tank, body-coloured sump guard, small LED taillight, dual-tone seat, black handlebar, radiator shrouds and sporty dual exhaust.Features like hefty front USD forks, black finished under-cowl engine and golden inverted telescopic fork with matching swing arm add more to its sporty appeal.
