Mahindra has launched the XUV300 AMT in India. This two-pedal setup is available at in the W8 and W8 (O) diesel-powered variants only. The AMT variants are priced at Rs 55,000 over the equivalent manual variant.

The diesel engine in question is the 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine producing 115bhp/300Nm and mated to a six-speed AMT a.k.a auto shift. We have already got behind the wheel of the XUV300 AMT and you can read our first impressions of the car in the review section.

Given that this is a variant of the XUV300, this version of the car matches its manual transmission siblings, feature for feature. The top-of-the-line model featured in the photos gets dual zone climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with 7.0-inch display, steering modes and leatherette upholstery.

The Mahindra XUV300 AMT is a direct rival to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza AMT as well as the Tata Nexon AMT. We have also looked at how the XUV300 AMT stacks up against these two cars and you can read about that here.
