The Italian super sports car maker unveiled the new Aventador Roadster at a special showcase in Singapore, which was presided by none other than Stephan Winkelmann, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Automobili Lamborghini.
The new exciting addition has been given the namesake - Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster and is pegged to replace the iconic Murciélago super sports car. The Italian auto maker has claimed that its new Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster is more powerful, lighter, quicker and one of the most fun to drive Lamborghinis ever produced from the company's stable.
Coming to under-the-hood specifications, the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster comes fitted with beast of a centrally mounted 6.5 litre, 12 cylinder V12 aspirated powertrain. The power-mill generates an astounding power delivery of 700 bhp and the drivetrain comes mated to an ISR seven speed transmission system along with a state-of-the-art push-rod suspension system, all of which make the brand new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster a class of its own. The magnificent gem of automobile engineering could accelerate from a standstill to 100 kmph in just a meagre 3 seconds (Yes!), while flaunting an ability to hit a top speed of 350 kmph without breaking into sweat. At present, there's no single contemporary sports car that could challenge the authority of Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster on a race track.
The freshly unveiled Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster shares the basic DNA, which is explicitly found in all the Lamborghinis produced over the years from Sant' Agata Bolognese, headquarters of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
