      Jaguar launches new XJ-L series in India

      Jaguar cars, the British subsidiary of Indian auto giant Tata Motors, has recently launched the new XJ-L series in the Indian market. The new Jaguar XJ-L series will compete with the likes of Mercedes Benz S-Class and BMW 7-Series and recently launched Audi R8 in the country.

      The new XJ-L version comes powered by two types of engines in the Indian market including a 3.0 liter diesel and a power packed 5.0 liter supercharged Super Sport variant. Where the 3.0L diesel engine of this model is capable of generating a peak power of 275 PS, the 5.0 litre V8 petrol engine is capable of delivering a maximum power of 510 PS.

      Jaguar XJL

      The 3.0 liter diesel version of the new Jaguar XJ-L has been launched at Rs 77 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi). The diesel version also carries a higher priced version with at Rs 85 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) that will come featured with the rear seat entertainment package.

      On the other hand, the high powered XJ-L 5.0 Supercharged SuperSport version carries a hefty price tag of Rs 1.11 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi) that carries the rear seat entertainment package as an standard feature.
