About BMW 7 Series
Introduction:
The BMW 7 Series, which has been introduced in India, is available in a single, fully loaded variant called 740i. The seventh-generation model was launched in India on 7 January, 2023.
Exterior:
Exterior highlights of the new-gen model from the Bavarian automobile brand include a large, illuminated kidney grille, split LED headlamps, new door handles, and sleeker LED tail lights. Also on offer is an ‘M’ badging on the right front fender.
Interior:
In terms of features, the new 7 Series comes equipped with a curved screen on the dashboard that features the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display, a new flat-bottom steering wheel, a new gear selector, a 31.3-inch 8k display mounted on the skyroof panel, and two 5.5-inch touchscreen units to control various functions from the doors in the second row.
Engine and transmission:
The latest iteration of BMW’s flagship sedan is powered by a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder petrol engine that develops 376bhp and 520Nm of torque. The model can sprint to 100kmph from a standstill in just 5.4 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 250kmph.
