Hyundai has launched the updated Verna sedan aka Solaris in the Russian market. The vehicle gets cosmetic upgrades to both exterior and interior, and it has been priced at 4,73,000 (Rs. 8.26 lakh) Rubles for the entry level model in Russia . The updated Solaris takes its styling cues with the all new Sonata and Genesis.
The Verna facelift now features a twin-slat unit complemented by larger headlights that have been inspired from its bigger sibling. It also gets updated front bumper which now sports newly designed fog lamps with integrated LED daytime running lamps and wider air-intakes. The rear design remains unchanged except for few changes which includes a redesigned reflectors and black under lip on the bumper.
The Hyundai Solaris facelift is powered by the same 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre petrol engines, which also powers the Indian model. However, the powerful 1.6-litre engine is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission along with the five-speed manual gearbox variant.
