It is a good year for the Korean auto car maker this year. Hyundai i10 has bagged “Car of the Year” award this year and it now witnesses a surge in its export orders from India.

Hyundai has already planned to make India as hub for exports of small cars. It has already made big investments and plans to expand its manufacturing capacity in India. Hyundai i10 was launched in October 2007 and it bagged the most prestigious award this year. Hyundai has now received an export order of 60,000 units for its Hyundai i10.

Hyundai would be catering to market demands from about 90 countries by the end of the year. Hyundai i10 was showcased in Europe at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy where it made its debut in Europe in December last year. It also marked its presence at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year in January.

Hyundai has also started a training program for its staff of all its overseas distributors at its Chennai factory that would help them to get familiarized and understand the model.
