Hyundai has been a strong brand in the Indian market and has also been a strong rival to India's largest car-maker, Maruti Suzuki. Hyundai Motors India Ltd has recently announced a new exclusive scheme for India’s Central, State government, PSUs and public sector banks employees. The scheme known as 'Pride of India', wherein the employees can avail discounts of upto Rs. 30,000 depending on the model and variant.
The scheme is aimed at reaching out to the local masses better and making cars more affordable for especially for government officials. Speaking more on the occasion, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President - Sales & Marketing, HMIL, said, “We are delighted to launch a special initiative ‘Pride of India’ to build a strong relationship with India’s valuable government employees. Through this scheme, we want more beneficiaries to avail the scheme and become a part of Hyundai family. I am sure this initiative will help us to further strengthen our relations with Indian customers.”
The offer is valid starting from entry level hatchback like Eon to the upmarket Santa Fe. The car-maker is likely to benefit from this scheme especially since the automobile market in India has been a bit sluggish.
