The specification and pricing details of the one of the most awaited small car, the Hyundai Eon are now out. The car will be carrying an 814 cc engine and will be priced between Rs 3.2 lakh to Rs 3.5 lakh thus rivaling head on with the country’s largest selling car Maruti Alto, the Hyundai Eon will be placed directly in the price segment of Alto.
The exterior of the Hyundai Eon is fascinating and will be having a broader stance as compared to the Maruti Alto. It is said to be blessed with the new age Fluidic design language by the South Korean auto giant, the all new Hyundai Eon will be carrying larger exterior dimensions which are as follows – Length - 3495 mm; width - 1625 mm; Height - 1535 mm. While the wheelbase of the car will be longest in its segment, the boot space of the car will be considerably large at 211 liters.
The 3 cylinder 814 cc engine of the Hyundai Eon will have a maximum power of 54 bhp along with a maximum torque of 76.5 Nm. The fuel economy of the Eon will be higher as compared to Maruti Alto at 21.1 km per liter.
In a bid to add a fascinating touch inside the car, the dashboard will have a combination of silver accents, black and beige plastic. The other attractive features of the car will be music system, support for USB/AUX, power steering, front power windows, driver airbags, etc. In a bid to price the car competitively, the expensive feature like ABS will not be installed in the car.
