An anniversary edition of the Hyundai Creta has been unveiled in the presence of badminton star Saina Nehwal and YK Koo, MD and CEO of Hyundai India. Unveiled to commemorate the first anniversary of the five-seater SUV, the first unit of the limited edition trim has been presented to Saina Nehwal for taking top honours at the Australian Open, 2016.
The Creta anniversary edition gets additional features and badging to differentiate it from the standard model and is only available in white colour. The most noticeable cosmetic change to the car is the blacked-out roof and stickers on the side and first anniversary badging on the C-pillar. Based on the SX/SX(O) trim level it gets the same feature list but with a red interior trim.
Mechanically, the Creta anniversary variant is identical to the standard car. The petrol version is powered by a 1.6-litre unit producing 122bhp/154Nm, while the diesel car makes 126bhp/265Nm. Gearbox options include a six-speed AT and a six-speed manual.
