Hyundai’s Creta instantly grew to fame in the Indian SUV segment and has been one of the best seller for the Korean automaker in the country. As revealed by sources, Hyundai India’s, General Manager (Marketing) & Group Head, Mr. Puneet Anand has stated that the company shall launch the Creta Anniversary Edition sometime by the mid of this year. The company has reportedly gathered around 1,00,000 bookings in the country until now of which about 45,000 units have been supplied to domestic and export markets.
The Hyundai Creta Anniversary Edition shall continue to be offered in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variant has been offered with a 1.6-litre engine that comes mated to 6-speed manual transmission, while the diesel comes with two engine options - 1.4-litre unit that mated to 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.6-litre diesel that is mated to six-speed automatic transmission option.
Being offered as an Anniversary Edition, the vehicle shall likely feature exclusive floor carpets, illuminated door sills, exclusive seat covers, aluminum pedals and also possibly a car refrigerator. As for the exterior, it could sport body decals on the side and contrasting roof color. More details about the vehicle may be known in the coming months. The vehicle could carry a slight additional cost over the current model owing to its premium features.
