Ford India, the country’s sixth largest automaker has added a newer version of its most successful mid-size sedan, Fiesta to its current Ford Fiesta model range. The company has launched the 2012 Fiesta Ambiente with price structure in accordance with the competition prices prevailing in the market.
With petrol and diesel engine options, the new Ford Fiesta Ambiente will be priced at Rs 7.23 lakhs and Rs 8.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively, lower by Rs. 1.45 Lakhs than the outgoing model.
The new Fiesta Ambient is furnished with exciting features such as electric power-assisted steering, driver’s seat height adjuster, driver airbag, anti-lock braking system, electrically adjustable rear view mirrors, adjustable rear headrests and tilt steering.
The top end variant, Titanium+ will, in addition, possess Bluetooth voice control, auto power-fold mirrors, rear park assist, reverse parking sensor, chrome front grille and cruise control. Further the Powershift Automatic Titanium+ will be cushioned with leather seats for greater luxury feel.

The mid-size sedan will be positioned against the segment leaders Honda City and Hyundai Verna and the company is planning to introduce eight new cars in India by 2015.
