It has been over two years since Indian bikemaker TVS Motor Co entered into an alliance with BMW Motorrad for technology and manufacturing of motorcycles below 500cc. Recently, the first product from the collaboration was spotted by sources undergoing road test in Europe. The naked street bike design is likely to be powered by 300cc four-stroke, single-cylinder engine.
The bike has been uniquely designed to deliver better centre of gravity that would enable easy handling. The bike undergoing road test featured telescopic front fork, whereas the rear wheel featured monoshock suspension. The test vehicle also sported Michelin tyres on the stylish alloy wheels. The bike also gets a huge slung silencer and single disc brake at the front and rear wheels.
The bike sported single projector headlight that has a sharper masculine look. As for safety, the bike may get ABS as a standard feature. Sharply extended tail lamp and LED-lit turn signal indicators are also worth a look. The company has not spoken on the pricing aspect nor has it revealed the technical specifications.
