After unveiling Mercedes Benz S-Class Coupe at the recently concluded Geneva Motor Show, the luxury car maker Mercedes Benz is gearing up to reveal AMG version at the upcoming 2014 New York Auto Show. S-Class Coupe was presented as the replacement of CL-Class at the Geneva Motor Show. The new AMG version dubbed 2015 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4MATIC Coupe is said to be a sibling of S63 sedan.
S63 AMG coupe is expected to be equipped with a 4MATIC all wheel drive which will be offered as standard in the U.S market, however in other markets a rear wheel version will be available as standard.
Expect a twin-trubocharged 5.5 litre V8 powertrain packed under the hood, the sturdy engine belts outs a pinnacle power output of 585 bhp along with a maximum torque output of 900 Nm.
A SpeedShift MCT-speed automatic transmission will be paired with the robust engine that enables the beast to sprint from nil to 100 kmph in an insignificant time of 3.9 seconds and attain a top speed of 305 kmph.
