      The new branding and marketing strategy promises to help Tata Motors occupy larger market share in the country which currently hold 16 percent share in India. The current hatchback market comprises of cars ranging from Rs. 2.5 to 5 lakh and the new Indica Vista shall address this market segment which shall help the company to arrest declining Indica sales in the country. Indica Vista along with Indica V2 and Indica Xeta shall address larger hatchback market segment which is currently dominated by Maruti Suzuki.

      Indica Vista shall be available in 7 variants and shall be pitted against Maruti Swift and Hyundai models, i10 and Getz. It shall come with three engine options 1.2 litre petrol, 1.3 Litre Quadrajet Diesel and re-worked version of 1.4 litre tubo charged and inter-cooled 475 IDI engine. It shall be available in 7 colours of Gala Red, Solar Orange, Cavern Grey, Marine Silver, Arctic Silver, Noble Blue and Infinity Black.

      Tata plans to expand its market share in the country as well as in the overseas market. It has recently launched second generation Indica in India, Indica Vista. It has also tied up with Fiat Spa for its dealership networks in India and overseas market. Fiat shall also take care of Nano sales and distribution across the world.
