Looking at the popularity of Datsun’s GO hatchback, the Japanese automaker has decided to open standalone dealerships of its low cost brand. The exquisite Datsun showrooms will be launched in India within next six months. Presently Datsun Go hatchback is being sold at parent company, Nissan’s outlets in India. Driving Nissan’s sales by almost 50 per cent with 2691 units of GO hatchback sold in April, Datsun is definitely gaining momentum in the domestic market. Standalone showrooms will give a further boost to the sales of the hatchback and will in turn help brand to strengthen its roots in India. With other Datsun cars lined up to be launched in India soon, an independent dealership network will help assure customers of a strong after sales service provided by Datsun.
