      Bajaj Pulsar 400 will usher new era of powerful street bikes

      Indian bike maker Bajaj seems to be always on its toes to revolutionize the Indian two wheeler segment. At the recently held 2014 Auto Expo event, Bajaj had unveiled two new bikes namely the Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 to give a visual treat to true blue Pulsar fanatics. As per sources, The Pulsar 400 shall be sold in two versions namely Super Sports and the Sports tourer. Both the bikes shall be powered by a 375cc liquid cooled 4 valve fuel injected engine. The powerful engines shall be mated to a 6 speed gearbox.

      Bajaj has not just focussed on letting this bike run free on the streets, the Indian bike maker has also focussed on building a strong leash for this monster with disc brakes for the front as well as rear tyres with ABS technology. For comfort, the bikes sports upside down telescopic forks at the front and mono suspension for the rear wheels. All new digital console on the handlebar of this bike, gives it an upmarket look. Overall, the bikes carry an aggressive stance and look sporty. The tail lights on the new Pulsars are also something to watch out for, the design has never been seen before in the Indian two wheeler market. Moreover, the air vent on the bike has been positioned beneath the fuel tank to deliver superior performance.

      Detailed specifications and pricing has not been revealed for now, the details are expected to be revealed post the Auto Expo 2014 event. The engine in Pulsar SS 400 and Pulsar CS 400 is said to share some common technological developments as seen with the engine in KTM Duke 390. Superior styling, stunning performance and reliability are some of the factors that are synonymous with the Pulsar line of production from the Indian bike maker.
