Jaguar Land Rover, the British subsidiary of the Indian auto giant Tata Motors, is all set to amaze the car enthusiasts at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo 2012 with the showcase of its future design concepts. The company’s pavilion at the show will be hosting Jaguar C-X16 and Land Rover DC100 concepts, both of which are blessed with JLR’s future design language.
The Jaguar C-X16 is the latest concept hybrid sports car that carries firm’s future design language and technology. It is a front engine rear wheel drive car, which is powered by a 3.0 Litre V6 engine. The advanced engine of the car delivers a peak power of 380 bhp along with a peak torque of 450 Nm. The power packed engine of the car is joined with a 95 bhp electric motor that delivers a peak torque of 235 Nm. A highly advanced eight-speed automatic transmission gearbox is joined with the system. The car takes just 4.4 seconds to break the speed barrier of 100 km per hour, and has a top speed of 298 km per hour.
The Land Rover DC100 on the other hand is a futuristic design concept sports utility vehicle of the company that is powered by a 2.0L CRDi diesel engine. The major attractions of this concept SUV include automatic transmission system, 100 inch wheelbase, all-terrain technology, steering wheel mounted controls for navigation, multi-functional removable touch-screen, audio and climate, park assist etc.
