German automaker Audi’s ultra-lavish e-tron GT sedans are arriving in the country tomorrow. Two weeks ago, Audi opened bookings for the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT. The four-door coupé twins are next-level pure electric cars from the future with up to 500km of range. Meanwhile, the carmaker brought the e-tron and the e-tron Sportback to India two months ago.
The Gran Turismo twins are the hottest electric automobiles in the e-tron range. And despite being underpinned by the same architecture as the Taycan, the siblings bear the Audi DNA in every inch. For instance, there is the world-famous Audi grille, LED headlights with special X-shaped designed LEDs and an LED light bar at the back along with LED taillights. Moreover, the twins are just under five metres in length.
On the inside, the e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT have the typical, ultramodern Audi interior with a classy touch. Being electric vehicles, Audi offers vegan Dinamica microfibre upholstery for the cabin. However, there is also an option of premium leather interior for an additional cost. Meanwhile, the GT's cabin features a big driver display alongside the MMI infotainment touchscreen.
The Audi twins use an 84kWh battery pack. The e-tron GT makes 469bhp and 630Nm of torque and has a WLTP certified range of about 500km. It can go from zero to 100kmph in 4.1 seconds. On the contrary, with the same battery pack, the range-topper RS e-tron GT can produce a staggering 590bhp and 830Nm of torque that help it achieve zero to 100kmph in a surprising 3.3 seconds. However, the sportier RS provides a range of 481km on a full charge, as per WLTP.
