America's leading automotive lifestyle magazine, Automobile Magazine has named Audi A7 as its 2012 Automobile of the Year. The editors at the Automobile Magazine chose Audi A7, owing to its impeccable combination of features that captivate every premium car buyer. Audi A7 assimilates qualities like a flawless design, unmatched performance and advanced technology.
The prestigious award will be presented during the Los Angeles International Auto Show by Jean Jennings, President and Editor-In-Chief of Automobile Magazine.
Overwhelmed by the appreciation received for Audi A7, Audi America President, Johan de Nysschen said, “The Audi A7 boasts bold styling and dramatic features, making it an icon of design and technology. We're thrilled that Automobile Magazine has selected A7 as the Automobile of the Year.”
Audi A7 is a four-door luxury car that has gained laurels for its suave and distinct designing, along with state-of-the-art technology and a powerful engine. The editors at Automobile Magazine were impressed by its supercharged 3-litre V6 engine, an all-wheel-drive system and eight-speed transmission. The power-packed engine in the car set high standards by churning a maximum power of 310 bhp and peak torque of 440 Nm.
Along with a powerful engine, Audi A7 is well-equipped in terms of advanced technologies, and features a number of useful gadgets. Audi A7 was the first car in the world to come with a factory fitted Wi-Fi, along with Audi connect and navigation with 3-D Google Earth.
