The 2016 Paris Motor Show will play host to a rather important concept from Mercedes-Benz. The German carmaker reportedly will unveil an all-electric SUV concept that’s currently under development near Stuttgart, Germany.
The zero-emissions concept will provide an insight into the exterior design, interior layout and technicalities of what will be, in fact, Merc’s first all-electric mass produced vehicle. When launched, this new model will go up against the Tesla Model X and an equivalent future model from Audi.
Post its global debut later this year, the concept will be put into production within the next three years. It will be the first of an all-new range of electric vehicles which will also include a luxury sedan, to rival the likes of the Tesla Model S.
