      5 New Tata Cars Launching in India in 2015

      Tata Motors, the home-grown automaker, is likely to launch five new cars in the Indian car market this year. The company is planning to revive its entire lineup to increase it market share. Here is a list of upcoming Tata cars in the country in 2015.

      1. Tata Safari Storme facelift : The company will introduce a mildly tweaked Safari Storme in the country this year. Already spotted a couple of times during its test rounds on Indian roads, the updated model is likely to get new interiors. It is expected to get new infotainment system from Harman, while the dashboard is likely to see major tweaks. It is equipped with new steering wheel, with audio controls mounted on it. It might also get front facing seats for the third row. Under the bonnet will be a tuned version of 2.2-litre turbo-diesel motor that produces 148bhp and 320Nm of torque.

      2. Tata Nano AMT : Showcased at the 2014 Delhi Motor Show, the Nano AMT will be positioned as a smart city car. It will feature a five-speed AMT gearbox and is likely to get a larger fuel tank, disc brakes on the front wheels and an openable hatch lid. There will be changes to both front and rear styling. That said, It will continue to feature the same 624cc, twin-cylinder petrol engine.

      3. Tata Kite hatchback : The maker is working on a new project - the Kite. The first car under this project will be a hatchback, which will be manufactured at the company's Sanand facility. It will come as a replacement for the Indica. The small car will be offered with a 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder turbo diesel and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engines.

      4. Tata Bolt AMT : Buoyed by the positive response for Zest AMT, the maker is also planning to launch the AMT-equipped Bolt hatchback in the country. The AMT gearbox will be offered with the diesel version of the hatchback and will rival against the Swift hatchback, which is also likely to get AMT.

      5. Tata Bolt Sport : At the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the home-grown automaker showcased the performance-oriented version of the Bolt. This variant gets the 1.2-litre REVOTRON engine that produces 120bhp and 170Nm of torque. The Bolt Sport will be launched under the company's new performance brand.
