Since the recent revelation of the patented images of the new version of Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, a lot of expectations have entered the hearts and minds of the Mitsubishi enthusiasts out there. After that event, another revelation of a few more realistic images of the new variant has been observed, and the Japanese carmakers call it a ‘Dynamic’ design.

With a lot of changes made to the look as well as to the interiors and the powertrain, it is expected that the official unveiling of the vehicle will be made later this year in Thailand, and the official Indian launch of the SUV will be done by 2017.

The new design of the SUV makes it incorporate and even muscular and yet, trendy design. With a new grille extending to the headlamps, and the additions of the air dam and skid plate, the whole fascia of the vehicle seems to be revised though there are a lot of things in the vehicle that remain the same. These designs of the top model of the vehicle have been inspired from the Mitsubishi’s Triton pickup truck.

The interiors of the vehicle seem to have an addition of an all-touch 6 inch colour screen, along with features like automatic climate control, automatic headlights, rain sensing wipers, reverse cameras, and many other such features.

This new variant will get its power from an all-new 2.4L MIVEC engine capable to churn out 178 bhp power and 430 Nm of torque. There will be an option among the 6-speed manual transmission system and the 5-wheel automatic transmission system for the buyer to choose from. Other than this, the vehicle will be offered in Reverse Wheel Drive as well as 4-Wheel Drive as per the customer’s need.

Though the launch of the vehicle could be made later this year in Thailand, but the Indian enthusiasts may have to wait for another year to get their hands on the vehicle. As per the speculations, the Indian launch of this new version of the SUV might be in the late 2016 or in early 2017.
