Audi India, today, launched the much-awaited 2015 Audi Q3 facelift in the country at a starting price of Rs. 28.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Q3 facelift received substantial cosmetic updates and a few additional features. Though, no mechanical changes have been made to the car.
The 2016 Q3 facelift will continue to feature the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder TDI diesel engine that also powers the outgoing model. It churns out a maximum power output of 177bhp at 4, 200rpm and 380Nm of torque between 1, 750rpm – 2, 500rpm. This engine is paired with a 7-speed S-tronic transmission, coupled with the Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive capabilities. The entry-level variant Q3S, however, will get a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Talking about the design, the Q3 facelift features new LED headlamp cluster, Audi’s signature 3D effect single-frame grille, revised front bumper and daytime running lights with slightly different design on the front end. Other exterior updates include a large panoramic sunroof, a new pair of 10-spoke 17-inches alloy wheels and modified rear bumper. Inside the cabin, the car gets 3D aluminum inlays for the centre console, new accents for dashboard and door trims, a new multi-function steering wheel, updated MMI system with navigation system, two SD card slots and 20GB hard drive storage capacity and instrument cluster with color display.
The 2015 Audi Q3 facelift takes on the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLA Class, BMW X1 and others in the segment.
