Hyundai i20 N Line

Model launch date:

The Hyundai i20 N Line facelift was launched in India on 22 September, 2023.

Feature list:

Exterior

The i20 N line comes with a new grille that bears a chequered-flag pattern design. Hyundai has also redone the front bumper, which now gets a red front splitter. Additionally, the side skirts feature red inserts as well. Apart from that, there is a new rear spoiler, twin exhaust pipe with exhaust sound tuning at the back, 16-inch alloy wheels, and red brake callipers. The car also gets four disc brakes, revised suspension, and paddle shifters.

Interior

Hyundai has also provided some N Line-specific equipment in this i20 N Line model. The steering wheel and gear stick come with the N logo. Moreover, the black interior of the hatchback gets red inserts on the gear stick, air-con vents, and even on the seats that are upholstered in artificial leather with a chequered-flag pattern. Besides that, it is a typical i20 cabin with an all-digital instrument cluster, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a seven-speaker Bose sound system.

Variants

The i20 N Line can be had in the N6 and N8 variants.

Engine, performance, and specifications:

The Hyundai i20 N Line is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT automatic transmission. It is capable of producing 118bhp that peaks at 6,000rpm and delivers 172Nm between 1,500 and 4,000rpm of torque.

Safety:

The Hyundai i20 N Line has not been crash-tested yet.

Competition:

The i20 N Line facelift rivals the likes of the Tata Altroz and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
