Tata Altroz
₹ 6.50 Lakh Onwards
Those saying this car a flop must change their views.
After taking test drives of Glanza, Baleno, i 20 and punch, we finally zeroed on Altroz. The fact that its really comfortable, stylish inside and the safest hatchback made us go for it. One thing I want to mention here is that, Toyota Glanza was the first choice on my mind and of course, its a solid car, but Altroz over powered my mind finally. I, actually don't like 3 cylinder engines but after driving Altroz, i had to change my thoughts. Its smooth, its lag free, its powerful and its reliable. May it be Harrier, Safari, Nexon or even Ev's, TATA crew has been working too hard on cars from past many years. Only the thing I didn't liked about Altroz is that, there are tooooo many cuts &edges on the exterior... especially on the rear, which takes plenty of time and accuracy to align with repairs after unfortunate accidents! Talking about the maintenance, its pocket friendly but Tata's MUST now focus on the after sales/service seriously. The orvms need a facelift as they are a bit larger on wide side, the company should provide a premium quality key chain with the remote, a lamp under the doors when you open to get in or out and a damper based bonet would be a great idea! Music system is good but the touch screen needs some changes with software. I request the company to provide Alloy wheel in the Stepney also. Overall, the Altroz is a great car in this segment.
