In the luxury car category, the Range Rover Evoque has been ranked high. It has also received the title of ‘Supreme Winner of the Women’s World Car of the Year 2012’. The 110 honours recognitions, which Evouque has received globally is sustained by the latest success. A panel of 17 women from different corners of the globe judged the Women’s World Car of the Year. The rating of the vehicle considered for the award is done according to the criteria, which reflects the issues related to the women car buyers.

Women are particularly concerned about the amount of storage space, practical elements, such as safety, child-friendliness, environmental performance and value for money. Some elements of design aesthetics also excite them. After reaching the highest level in the luxury car segment, Range Rover Evoque successfully bagged the Car of the Year title.

Even though, the result has been announced this week, Land Rover will receive this trophy in September at the Paris Motor Show. Land Rover Global Brand Director, John Edwards responding to the news said, “The Women’s World Car of the Year title further reflects the great market reach of Evoque. Across the world, women are a customer base in their own right, so it is vital for any manufacturer to ensure their products meet their preferences and requirements.”

“As a vehicle designed, engineered and built in Britain, the Range Rover Evoque continues to demonstrate its world-class appeal. We are delighted that as well as the 111 honours it has received for its design, engineering and performance, it has proved just as successful in terms of excellent global sales.”
