The popular sub 4 meter Xcent sedan from Hyundai has been quite popular ever since it was introduced about 2 months ago in the country. Since its launch, Hyundai has reportedly sold about 7000 units in the country already. Recently, news has also been doing rounds that, the sedan shall now make way to the potential markets in UAE and African continents. The export version shall be produced at Indian Hyundai plant in Chennai and shall receive LHD conversion and software changes that comply to international standards.

Hyundai has stated that it has been working on increasing the production numbers, in order to cater to an increase in demand for the sedan. Moreover, the sedan is stated to share quite a lot of spare parts with its sibling, the i10 hatchback. Due to similarity in some of the parts being used, the Korean car-maker has been successful in keeping the price factor under check.
