Volkswagen Vento will be introduced in a new Highline Plus trim soon. This variant packs additional features over the present top-end Highline version.

Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus trim to be launched soon

The Vento Highline Plus will not be too different from the existing Vento model in terms of design. However, the new trim will feature full LED headlamps and U-shaped LED DRLs as well. The cabin might get a new touch screen system, while the rest of the interior is expected to be the same as the current Highline trim.

The VW Vento's new Highline Plus variant will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The oil-burner will get the updated 1.5-litre diesel mill from the Ameo that produces 108bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. On the other hand, the petrol versions will continue to get the 1.2-litre TSI and 1.6-litre TSI engines producing 103bhp with 175Nm and 153Nm respectively. Transmission options will also be carried over with a five-speed manual as standard and an optional seven-speed DSG gearbox on offer as well.

Volkswagen India is yet to officially announce the price of this new trim, which is expected to be slightly more than the current pricing. The carmaker might launch the Highline Plus variant during Christmas or in the New Year, making it the new top-of-the-line trim for the Vento.
