Volkswagen, Europe's largest carmaker announces the launch of the powerful and efficient New Polo GT TDI today. With its 1.6 L 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, which produces 77 kW / 105 PS and 250 Nm of torque, the New Polo GT TDI is the most powerful diesel hatchback in its segment and has been engineered to provide unmatched performance combined with excellent fuel economy. The Volkswagen Polo GT TDI is priced at Rs. 8.08 lakh, ex showroom, Delhi.
Commenting on the launch of the New Polo GT TDI, Mr. Arvind Saxena, Managing Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. In addition to class-leading power and performance, the New Polo GT TDI offers an ARAI-certified 19.78 kmpl of fuel efficiency. With this latest addition to the Polo range, which now includes the Polo GT TSI, Cross Polo and Polo GT TDI, Volkswagen now offers Indian customers with unique motoring solutions for their specific requirements in the hatchback segment. Sales of the Polo GT TDI will commence from September 13, 2013.
