The Mercedes-Benz B Class is offered with two engine options. While the petrol model gets the 1.6-litre turbocharged unit producing 120bhp and 200Nm of torque, the oil burner has 2.2-litre engine that produces 107bhp and 250Nm of torque. Both engines are coupled to a seven-speed automatic transmission gearbox which transmits power to the front wheels of the car.

Based on Mercedes Benz’s Modular Front Architecture (MFA), the B-Class Sports Tourer is locally assembled via CKD kit route at the company’s manufacturing plant in Chakan, Pune. While the petrol variant is priced at Rs. 23.11 lakh, the diesel variant costs Rs. 26.83 lakh, all the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
