TVS Apache RTR 180 has been a tough contender in the power bike segment in the country. The bike from TVS production line delivered impressive performance figures while simultaneously making a style quotient on the tarmac. As per a latest update, the bike has been launched a new Matte Black Edition to appease its huge fan following.
The new Apache RTR 180 has only received cosmetic upgrade whereas technologically the bike remains the same. The bike shall be powered by the same 177.4 cc engine that generates about 17.03 bhp of power with 15.5 Nm of torque. The powerful responsive engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Sales number for the Apache line has reported about 13,539 units and 14,266 units in the months of February and March respectively. Prominent bike-maker Bajaj on the other hand has reported Pulsar sales of about 49,964 units in the month of March this year. The new shade version is expected to generate good sales number for the Apache RTR 180 bikes in the country. The Matte Black Edition of Apache RTR 180 shall be launched sometime by the end of this year.
