As carmakers in the country have been in a mad rush to launch special and limited edition variants in the country, bikemakers in the country have not chosen to stay far behind. TVS Motor company has announced the launch of a new Matte Blue Edition Apache RTR 180 to thrill bikers during this festive season in the country. The bike only gets a new colour option and there have been no mechanical or cosmetic upgrades on the bike this time around.
The new TVS Apache RTR 180 Matte Blue Edition continues to be powered by 177.4cc single-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power output of about 17bhp and 15.5nm of peak torque. The bike sprints from standstill to 60km/h in just about 4.5 seconds. The bike also comes with an ABS option to make your rides safer. The bike in new shade costs an additional Rs 2,500 than the current model.
The Matte Blue Edition is also available on Apache RTR 160 that is powered by 159.7cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine that generates about 15.2bhp of power with 13.1nm of torque. The bike gets front disc brake, while the rear gets an optional disc brake for effective braking. On the front you may see 270mm disc whereas the rear gets an optional 200mm disc apart from regular 130mm drum brake.
