The much awaited Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo has finally been launched in India for Rs 31,01,500 ( Ex Showroom Delhi). The new model will further boost up Fortuner sales this festive season. The sportier, classier and trendier version of the Fortuner is available in a pearl white colour and is limited to 4x2 AT variant only.
Under the hood, the Fortuner TRD Sportivo continues to be powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine that comes mated to six-speed automatic transmission as standard. The vehicle gets eco and power drive modes along with active traction control. As for the interior, it gets a 7-inch tablet inspired touch screen infotainment with navigation, second row one touch tumble seats, park assist with back monitor and rear sensors, a large TFT Multi-information display and auto climate control (Dual AC).
To distinguish it from a regular version, the Fortuner TRD Sportivo gets - sporty front and rear bumper spoiler, TRD radiator grille and lower grille cover, R18 TRD Alloy Wheels, TRD inspired exterior accents and TRD Sportivo badge. The SUV also gets auto bi-beam LED headlamps with DRLs, LED foglamps, fully automatic power back door with height adjust memory and jam protection, and features smart entry with push start.
As for safety, The Fortuner TRD Sportivo gets impact absorbing structure with pedestrian protection support, Antilock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), 7 SRS airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), speed auto lock with emergency unlock and Hill Start Assist Control (HAC). Speaking on the launch, Akitoshi Takemura, senior vice president, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt. Ltd said, “Our latest festive offering, the 'Fortuner TRD Sportivo' will add more excitement to brand Fortuner.
