Toyota, the well appreciated Japanese auto maker, seems to be working on the production version of its i-Road concept. The car was first showcased at the Geneva Auto Show 2013 and was able to turn much heads. On the company's i-Road concept car, industry experts are of a view that it happens to be a hybrid of car and motorcycle, which has been designed for city commuters. Reportedly, the i-Road leans left and right as the driver turns and it has been claimed by the company officials that it can't be tipped. It is believed that with its i-Road concept, Toyota is showing a glance at the future of mobility, which is expected to become a reality, pretty soon.

Expressing his views at the development of this model, a company official was quoted as saying, “It takes the compactness of a motorcycle and the stability and convenience of an automobile.” It must be noted that the slow speed and ultra-narrow body style of i-Road concept can make it eligible to be driven in bike lanes. In a few ways, this beautiful innovation from Toyota will be safer, faster and comfortable than a bicycle ride. Also, it is being said once launched, the i-Road concept will prove to be an efficient way to move around crowded urban areas.
