Anyone who wants to see the 2013 Indian Grand Prix can either buy a three-day season ticket or a single ticket, which will be just for the race day (Sunday only). Both races held till now, 2011 and 2012, have been huge successes with Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel claiming victory on each occasion. Organisers are likely to make the 2013 edition a superb spectacle, which will augur well for the race's future prospects. If reports are to be believed, then the next edition of the Indian Grand Prix will be held in March 2015.

The price of season tickets of the 2013 Formula One Indian Grand Prix starts from Rs. 2000 and ends at Rs. 21000. There are 5 classifications in terms of stand type, namely Natural/Picnic, Star, Premium, MGS Upper-Tier and MGS lower-tier, in ascending order. On the other hand, race day tickets have a price range of Rs. 1500 – Rs. 12000. Tickets are available for purchase on the Internet at www.bookmyshow.com. People can also buy tickets from dealerships of Mercedes-Benz in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Pune, Chandigarh and Noida. Mercedes-Benz happens to be the official automobile partner of the Formula One Indian Grand Prix in India.

This is a great opportunity for motorsport enthusiasts to watch their favourite heroes compete against each other. However, many fans complained about the high price of tickets, which resulted them in not being able to enjoy the coveted race. To change this scenario and make the race viable on a larger scale, the organisers have introduced special race-day tickets to attract more people.

Sameer Gaur, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Jaypee Sports International (JPSI), said, “Formula 1 lovers now have every reason to cheer as single day race tickets have been launched together with the season tickets in order to draw more and more number of spectators for the race day. With one of the cheapest tickets available on the F1 calendar, we hope to put up another memorable racing weekend at BIC in October”.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz India, Eberhard Kern, was excited about the partnership between the German car maker and JPSI. “Our partnership with JPSI has been very fruitful in popularizing motorsport in India. We are very excited for the third edition of the Indian GP, sale of tickets for which begins today. We look forward to welcome Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg during the third edition of Indian GP,” he said.
