      Tata Motors Group global wholesales higher by 35% this November

      The Tata Motors Group global wholesales for the month of November were 108,028 units, which also included Jaguar Land Rover. The rise was 35 per cent (M-o-M basis) over unit sales during November 2010. Moreover, cumulative sales for the fiscal period were 750,457 units, which is 10 per cent more than corresponding period in 2010-11.

      Out of 108,028 units, 49,724 units were of commercial vehicles, belonging to Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range. The commercial vehicle segment grew by 24 per cent (M-o-M basis), in comparison to sales during November 2010. Cumulative sales of commercial vehicle for the fiscal were 371,410 units, which is higher by 18 per cent.

      In November 2011, 58,304 units of all passenger vehicles were sold, a rise by 47 per cent (M-o-M basis). Cumulative sales registered by automotive giant in the segment is 379,047 units, rise by 4 per cent.

      The distribution off-take in India of Fiat cars and sales of Tata passenger vehicles was 29,121 units, an increase by 74 per cent over November 2010. In this segment, the automaker experienced a growth of 8 per cent during the fiscal, selling 193,616 units.

      Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover were at 29,183 vehicles in November 2011, a growth of 27 per cent growth (M-o-M basis). Jaguar cars sold during November 2011 were 5,315 units, less by 5 per cent (M-o-M basis), while Land Rover sales were higher by 38 per cent, with 23,868 nos. being sold. For the fiscal, cumulative sales of Jaguar Land Rover were 185,431 units, higher by 19 per cent over same period of 2010. On the other hand, cumulative sales of Jaguar were 35,195 nos., less by 9 per cent. The cumulative sales of Land Rover rose by 28 per cent, with sales of 150,236 nos.
