      Royal Enfield grows by exceptional numbers, sells 27542 units in November

      Royal Enfield has continued its wonder run in 2014 with a sale of 27542 units in November 2014, when the domestic and exported numbers were combined. This number means that the company has shown a growth of 52 per cent when compared with the numbers of last year during the same duration. Domestic sales saw a jaw-dropping rise to 27198 units when compared with 17752 units in November last year. However, the export units faced a fall of 344 units, which was 379 in November 2013, showing a downfall of 9 per cent.

      When the year to date numbers was matched, they showed a great improvement, as well. The domestic year-to-date sales figure stood at 268191 units, which is a lot ahead of 154797 during the same period last year. The export sales number stood at 5766 units, which is again higher than 2013’s 4011 units. This marked a growth of approximately 44 per cent. When it came to the overall year-to-date progress, the company showed a commendable growth of 73 per cent.

      There is more good news for Royal Enfield apart from the exceptional numbers. There were two new appointments for the company in the month of November. Iconic designer of Motorcycles – Pierre Terblanche made his entry to the company during this month. He is globally known for creating some globally popular models while his stint as the Head of design at Ducati. Apart from Pierre, James Young has joined Royal Enfield, as well. James has been a part of Polaris and Triumph previously and has been a part of some iconic models in the two-wheeler world. Definitely, the company is looking forward to make it grand in the years to come.
