      Road near Nashik witnesses accident; four killed and two injured

      Mumbai-Agra highway witnessed a mishap at the early morning on 25th April 2012. In the accident, four people died on the spot and two were seriously injured because their head crashed with a container in Wadivarhe village, which is around 15 km away from Nashik. The individuals injured in the accident were directly taken to a private hospital in Nashik.

      The accident happened between an Innova car and a container, wherein the car was arriving from Mumbai and heading towards Nashik, whereas the truck was approaching to Mumbai. Impact of the accident was so hard that the car smashed into the contained and stuck into it. The passengers deceased in accident were recognised as Devsingh Rathod (30), Satpal Zarang (30), Ramesh Patil (35) and Gajanan Jadhav (28). As per the police sources, all these individuals were painting contractors and were going to Malegaon, in order to take part in a wedding ceremony.

      The work of road broadening is in progress from quite a long time. Some patches on the path are completed, while some are yet to be provided a final touch. Owing to this, the traffic of both the sides glides over a same lane.
