Local arm of French auto maker, Renault India has re-launched Renault Scala Travelogue edition in a total of five trims in both petrol and diesel guise. The Travelogue range is also being offered in manual and automatic variants only on the petrol trims. Renault had rolled out the Travelogue edition last year in April only on the RXZ diesel trim unlike this year.
Minor change has been made on the exterior front in the form of a contrast belt line that runs in tandem with the window sill starting from head lights until the rear. Inside the cabin additions have been made, a navigation system along with Bluetooth connectivity, illuminated scuff plates and a rear sun shade are equipped in the cabin.
The re-launch of travelogue edition could work in favor of the sedan and hence help Renault pull in aplenty sales. Compact mid size sedan segment is currently being ruled by Honda’s revamped City which is back with a bang. Other sedans including Fiesta and Scala’s alter ego, Sunny will be coming in a new avatar soon, therefore it was a much needed buffer that the vehicle needed to push sales.
Offered in five trims here is the price list for the Travelogue edition range- Scala’s basic petrol version RXL is being offered at Rs 8.48 lakh, RXL CVT is tagged at Rs 9.61 lakh, RXZ trim is available for sale at Rs 10.51 lakh, basic diesel version RXL on the other hand is priced at Rs 9.31 lakh and RXZ diesel is up for grabs at Rs 10.20 lakh (Please note all prices mentioned are Ex-Showroom Delhi).
