Regal Motors, the United States based manufacturer, has announced that they will be launching three motorcycles in the Indian market. This will take place in the coming few weeks and the announcement was made during the Hyderabad International Auto Show 2015. This was also the place where the company showcased its current line-up of motorcycles.
Three Regal Raptor motorcycles, which will hit the markets, are Daytona 350, DD 350E 9B and regal Raptor Bobber. The interesting aspect about these motorcycles is that all of these are powered by the same 320 cc twin-cylinder mill, which can generate a maximum of 22.8 bhp and 22 Nm torque output. The models come with a five-speed gearbox, making it way smoother to change gears on the road.
Regal Raptor has also shook hands with a recently floated Hyderabad-based automotive business group, by the name FAB Motors (Fabulous and Beyond Motors India) for smooth facilitation of its operations. This is a 600 crores INR enterprise and will smoothly facilitate the manufacturing and distribution of Regal Raptor motorcycles in the country as well as eight other markets including Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Nepal.
The motorcycles sold here will be assembled locally from the imported CKD units in Hyderabad. A new plant is in the process of being set-up in Telengana, with an expected investment of 1000 crores INR, which will be spanning over the forthcoming years.
