Porsche has been known across the global platform as the makers of some of the finest sleek beauties that not just look gorgeous but also perform impressively. The American market has indeed been a strong market for the German carmaker and this time around, in an attempt to appease its elite Porsche Club of America, the company has ushered-in the all new limited edition 911 GTS Club Coupe. For interested takers, you may have to hurry as the company is offering the trims in limited numbers, to be specific, its only about 60 units!
Speaking more on the special occassion, Andre Oosthuizen, Vice President of Marketing for Porsche Cars North America, said, "The Porsche Club of America is home to passionate ambassadors who have been fostering the appreciation and recognition of Porsche for 60 years. We are proud and honored to celebrate this anniversary with a very special edition of Porsche's most storied sports car – the 911."
The new Porsche GTS Club Coupe is stated to feature an enhanced version of the Carrera S engine, which is also found in the 911 Carrera GTS model variants. The 430 hp engine in GTS Club Coupe when equipped with the optional PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung) dual-clutch seven-speed transmission is capable of taking the vehicle from standstill to 60 mph in just about 3.8 seconds. The vehicle has a top track speed of about 190 mph (189 mph on PDK-equipped models). Moreover, a third center radiator ensures consistent performance under all conditions. A standard Sport Exhaust system with black chrome tips accentuates the Boxer engine in an impressive manner.
