Porsche has launched a new entry-level variant for its Macan crossover in the German market. This version is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine and is priced significantly lower than the current Macan S entry-level model.
The 2.0-litre mill produces 252bhp and 370Nm of torque and sends power to the wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. This output has given it a 0-100kmph time of 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 230kmph.
Noticeable elements on this entry-level variant include 18-inch wheels, black brake calipers and exhaust system with stainless steel tips. In the cabin,there are 8-way adjustable seats, touchscreen infotainment system, power tailgate and a lane departure warning system.
It is believed that bookings have already begun but deliveries are expected to take place only in June of this year. It has been priced at 55,669 Euros (Rs 41.04 lakh) which is priced nearly 5000 pounds lesser than the Macan S.
