Fuel prices have finally reduced marginally as crude oil prices have hit their 11-year low ever. The new fuel prices are reduced by Rs 0.5/litre and diesel price has come down by Rs 0.46/litre.
The current level of international product prices of Petrol & Diesel and INR-USD exchange rate warrant a decrease in prices, the impact of which is being passed on to the consumers with this price revision. The movement of prices in the international oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes.
The fuel price in Delhi is now Rs 46.09 for a litre for diesel, while for petrol the pricing stands at Rs 59.98 a litre. The INR has been growing weaker and there has been an increase in taxes on fuel. Else, the fuel prices would have been a lot lower than what it is at the moment.
