      The Ssangyong Mahindra Rexton is available in two variants – RX5 and RX7. The RX5 is powered by 2696cc, five cylinder diesel RX270 XDi engine that generates about 162 Bhp of power with 340Nm of torque. The RX7 is powered by 2696cc, five cylinder diesel RX270 XVT engine that generates about 184 Bhp of power with 402Nm of torque. The RX5 is mated to five speed manual transmission and comes with torque on demand drivetrain, whereas the RX7 is mated to five speed electronic transmission and comes with an all wheel drivetrain. The interiors are super spacious and carry a sense of elegance and luxury. The exteriors look sporty and give out a masculine appeal. The 'Eagle eye' shaped projector headlamps provide with ample illumination under various circumstances. The stylish bumper features well designed fog lamps that also compliment the chrome accented grill.       The freshest from the Safari line is the Safari Storme Explorer edition. The SUV is powered by 2.2 litre that generates an impressive power of about 140 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Moreover, the Tata Safari Storme Explorer edition has shed the previously used DICOR technology and has received a VariCOR (Variable Turbine Technology) engine.
