The much awaited Skoda Superb is finally set to launch on 23rd February this year. The new model revives the vehicle’s legacy for its impressive style, performance and luxury features. The pricing aspect is not known for now, but it is anticipated to be priced around under Rs 30 lakh bracket. Apart from more interior space and richer feel, the new Skoda Superb also boasts about an additional wheel base of about 80mm and is also about 75kg lighter than the older model.
Under the hood, the new Skoda Superb gets a 1.8-litre petrol engine that generates about 178bhp of power, while the 2.0-litre diesel generates about 160bhp. The new Superb would be offered with dual-clutch automatic transmissions. Talking about features, it comes loaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto supported SmartLink touchscreen system, 10-speaker Canton audio system and the top-line trim gets full leather interior.
In terms of safety, it comes loaded with adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, traffic sign recognition, attention assist, crew protection assist and emergency braking assist. For added convenience, the rear seat passengers get a tablet holder, wider cabin and a panoramic sunroof. The new model is indeed richer, comfortable and more premium than its predecessor in India.
