A new Mercedes CLS63 AMG was spied doing test rounds at the Nurburgring again to fine tune the suspension settings. This high performance AMG model features same design and style as the existing E-class model available internationally. Current AMG model shares its engine with previous-generation E 63 AMG that delivers 500 horsepower. The new model is expected to have 525 horsepower 6.3L V8 engine with seven speed gear box powering the rear wheels. The model is also expected to have standard wheels with the 19-inch size listed on the options menu.
CLS will retain the low-roofed four-door coupe looks, but it will gain LED lights and technology from the latest E-class. The AMG CLS will get bigger brakes and wheels, and an aggressive body kit, while four exhausts poke out from the rear to complete the AMG package.

The new Mercedes CLS63 AMG model goes on sale in the international market in 2011. It will be pitted against Porsche Panamera Turbo, and high performance Aston Martin Rapide. The four door coupe segment which is laden with these high performance cars will also witness entry of Audi with its new model A7.
