Czech automaker, Skoda has now teased the next generation Skoda Superb saloon. The company’s flagship product has completed the final test series in Southern Europe. According to the company, the next Superb gets new design language, spacious cabin, innovative technology, driving dynamics and build quality.

Based on the VW Group’s MQB platform, the Skoda Superb comes with an enhanced interior space and boot capacity. The sedan is claimed to offer best values in terms of comfort, infotainment and connectivity, safety, consumption and performance. “The new ŠKODA Superb is the best ŠKODA ever. This latest generation of our flagship will appeal to new groups of customers in the business and private sector. The qualities of the Superb emphasize the brand’s values and point to the future of ŠKODA,” says ŠKODA CEO Prof. Dr. h.c. Winfried Vahland.

The new Skoda Superb will be premiered in mid-February 2015 in Prague, while the launch is planned for mid-2015. The vehicle will also be showcased at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, which is scheduled to commence in early March. The teaser images are completely covered, revealing very little about the changes given to the Superb saloon. That said, the vehicle shares its design cues with Skoda's VisionC concept.

In India, the Skoda Superb is assembled at the company’s manufacturing unit in Aurangabad, which is shared with Audi India. The next generation Skoda Superb is likely to hit Indian shores by the end of next year, and will serve as a brand enhancer.
