The premium automaker has made substantial amendments in the former M Class’ chassis and double wishbone suspension along with cosmetic changes on the exterior and interior fronts to upgrade the design and structural dynamics of the M Class.

Mercedes-Benz has embodied the M Class with 23mm longer and 15mm wider symmetry that gives the SUV much more compact, upbeat and suave appeal. The protruding wheel arches and the eye shaped headlamps effectively raise the sport quotient of the SUV.

Even the interiors consist of striking features such as the leading edge entertainment system with an impressive instrument cluster and the high class interiors are composed of superior quality materials.

The SUV will be offered in a five seater version only and will be launched initially in 350 CDI engine that is more powerful and has an outpouring capacity of 258 bhp, 34bhp greater than the outgoing version and a massive torque of 63.2 kgm. With standard options such as seven-speed 7G-Tronic automatic transmission gearbox, highly advanced start stop option and permanent four wheel drive feature, M Class also offers an optional six stage on/off road package.

The company is endeavoring to price the M Class at highly competitive prices later on when the production of the SUV is localized with even diesel engine to be assembled by Force Motors.
