      Mercedes-Benz India consolidates its presence in Bengaluru

      Mercedes-Benz, the German auto giant, inaugurated Akshaya Motors, a new state-of-the-art dealership in Bengaluru on 11th April 2012. In this ceremony, the company also restated its reputation in the Indian market as a luxury auto maker with a decent sales network. The new dealership is based at the Mysore Road and sprawls around a vast area of over 65,000 square feats. The company has spent a hefty investment of Rs. 300 million around Rs. 30 crores, which will surely be lucrative for the company. With this multi-level dealership, the company has inaugurated its major luxury car outlet in Karnataka. The doors of this new 3S facility were opened together by Peter Honegg, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes-Benz India and MP Shyam, Managing Director, Akshaya Motors.

      Commenting upon the ceremony, Honegg, said, “Inauguration of Akshaya Motors reaffirms Mercedes-Benz India’s constant endeavour of delighting the customers with exciting product offerings and simultaneously giving them an unparalleled luxury car ownership experience, through our superlative after-sales network. Our second state-of-the-art dealership in Bengaluru is part of our ‘Go to Customer’ strategy which is defining newer benchmark for the luxury car industry in India and we are committed to reaching out and delighting more customers and expanding our footprints to more Indian cities.”

      Developed in over twelve months, this state-of-the-art dealership has a well designed showroom with a workshop. The company has deliberately located this unit at one of the prominent places of South-West region of Bengaluru at Mysore Road. This area is efficiently connected with the main market areas of city that will surely provide an enthralling ‘Mercedes-Benz experience’ to the buyers.
